Flush Valve FAQ
Are your flush valves retrofittable into existing applications with different brand flush valves? (Toto, Sloan, Zurn, American Standard...etc.)
Yes! Our HB8RFKC Series retrofit flush valves will drop right into any installation, including Delany (with our Delany retrofit kit).
Are all your flush valves convertible from right rough-in to left rough-in, and vice versa?
Yes! Our flush valves are designed in a way that to switch from one side to another, you just have to turn the top cap assembly around and swap the manual push button with the matching plug from the other side of the valve body.
Are all the flush valves flush volume’s adjustable?
Yes! Flow rates are set as ordered but can be adjusted to better suit your application.
Are your flush valves programable with sentinel flush feature?
Yes! The sentinel flush feature, which will initiate a flush if the flush valve hasn’t flushed in the last 36 hours, is a feature that can be turned on with a flip of a dipswitch. This feature keeps the traps from drying out and creating unhygienic and foul-smelling situations.
What is the minimum inline water pressure required for these flush valves to operate properly?
This depends on the fixture our flush valve is installed on. Our flush valves will operate with pressures as low as 5 psi, but most bowls require much more water pressure in order to clear the bowl. We recommend at least 25 psi. Please refer to the specifications of the fixture to obtain the minimum inline water pressure required in order to have the toilet system work properly.
